The Evolutionary Goals and Mission of Law Enforcement and Security Consulting, Violence Prevention Workshops is to make manifest the nature of conflict and violence within an organization and to discern a pattern for successful operations at preventing and resolving conflict and violence. To help generalize tactics and strategy to cope with unfolding events via the observation, orientation, decision and action cycles in an effort to establish a basis for a grand violence prevention strategy while building resilient violent free organizations. Our Intent is to help our clients unveil the character of conflict, prevent violent outcomes and enhance survival.

Our conflict and violence prevention workshops center around individual and organizational situational awareness and decision making cycles. Creating and nurturing an organizational atmosphere of mutual trust, collaborative efforts and building resilient networks that have an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change, is as well paramount to ensuring a safe environment in the workplace.

Situational awareness and processing information through the observation, orientation, decision, and action cycle is a natural ability we have and use but the normalcy and routine of day to day life has it on low intensity and we fail to recognize or ignore the signs and signals of stress, anxiety, conflict and potential violence in the workplace.  These signs and signals manifest themselves in words and actions (patterns of behavior,verbal leakage, expressions and body language).

The key to preventing violence in the workplace is to hone this ability to observe, orient, decide and act to a level of higher intensity so when we observe the signs and signals we respond to intervene early. When time is on our side and risk of violence is low. If vigilant and we take action, we can prevent escalation utilizing available resources such as, human resources HR, employee assistance programs EAP,Legal Staff,  coworkers, family and friends etc. On the other hand when time is short and risk is high, honing this ability will be necessary to stop the violence when active violence begins. Preventing violence takes open minds, hard work and focused effort by all.

Ms. Fleischer is a management-side employment attorney with over twenty (20) years experience and is nationally recognized as an expert in her field. She has successfully represented numerous clients in employment discrimination litigation as well as providing preventive counseling and training on workplace issues. Ms. Fleischer is a frequent lecturer on a wide range of employment law topics including seminars and workshops on Workplace Violence Prevention, Anti-Harassment Training, FMLA/ADA Training other employment law issues. She has authored numerous articles on workplace violence prevention. Ms Fleischer is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
