We all know to well the important information we keep on our PC, laptop, smartphone or tablets. Credit card numbers, online transactions statements, home address and phone numbers. The list can be endless!

It has never been more important these days to make sure our wireless networks are secure. We've come up with some tips to help you keep your network and your information safe from hackers online.

First thing is, know how your wireless network works. Many home PC networks have a router with a wireless component.

The U.S. Census Bureau states 11 million households resided in gated communities in 2009, an increase from the seven million reported in 2001. It would look like living behind a barrier would be more secure, but is it really?

I have been off the Blog over the last month busy with both work and some vacation. Hope all has bee better than good with all of you. As I write this 101 police officers have been killed in the line of duty so far this year. this is a 28% increase over last year. Not a very good statistic and one we should be striving to decrease. Striving with all we have to become more effective on the street.
